Geraldine Barclay-King joined the Economic Progress Institute Board in Ocotber 2022.

Geraldine Barclay-King currently owns and operates Geri’s Bluffing Boutique | GBB Cultural Connection in Woonsocket, RI and enters this business with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management and expertise in tourism, sales, marketing and event management. She holds a community leader certification from Leadership Rhode Island and has successfully completed the 2022 Social Enterprise Greenhouse Accelerator Program.

She is actively involved in her community and serves as the Vice Chair of Downtown Woonsocket Collaborative and board member of the Economic for Progress Institute. Geri’s Bluffing Boutique uses fashion, art, and culture to transform lives by providing an atmosphere where one can connect with their roots through an educational retail experience. In doing so, Geri’s Bluffing Boutique has become a community place where “Positivity lives and Confidence is discovered”.

Since her business launch in 2020, Geri’s Bluffing Boutique was awarded the 2023 Trailblazer Woman of the Year by the Northern RI Chamber of Commerce and featured on the front cover of Rhode Island Monthly: December 2022, Providence Business News,
