February 28, 2024: EPI will celebrate 25 years of economic progress as we launch our strategic vision and honor those who have been instrumental in creating impact in Rhode Island.

13th Annual Policy & Budget Conference

September 2024 EPI will bring together policymakers, community leaders, and interested residents to launch our 2024 Rhode Island Standard of Need report, discuss critical policy opportunities for Rhode Islanders, and celebrate champions for economic progress.

Community Education and Trainings

A series of trainings on policy advocacy, access to public benefits and understanding the state budget to educate, build power, and develop leadership skills.

Legislative Wrap-Up Celebration

June 2024: EPI will publish our 2024 Top Ten Legislative Wins and celebrate the accomplishments of legislative champions and coalition partners.

Let’s Talk About Economic Progress

Spring 2024 and Fall 2024: EPI will launch a series of conversations about budgetary policies, state tribal policies, childcare, paid leave, healthcare, and economic opportunity with local and national partners like the Center on Budget & Policy Priorities, Family Values at Work, Economic Policy Institute and more.

Reports

EPI will launch two major reports: the Rhode Island Standard of Need and the State of Small Business reports. We will also publish several policy briefs on topics such as paid leave, payday lending reform, equity, and state tribal policy.
