Join the Economic Progress Institute (EPI) for an in-person training to help social workers and community health workers guide clients through public benefits programs. The session will be held Friday, November 7, from 9 AM to 12 PM at Gaige Hall, Rhode Island College in Providence.
Led by Divya Nair, EPI’s Senior Policy Analyst for Children and Families, the training will include a discussion with RI Department of Human Services Director Kimberly Merolla-Brito on the changing landscape of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, and other vital programs.
With a new federal law making benefits harder to access, this program offers practical tools and insights to help professionals better support low-income Rhode Islanders.
Space is limited—register today and be part of the effort to ensure that every Rhode Islander can access the support they need to thrive.
