While we fix such mistakes in the electronic version of The 2026 Rhode Island Standard of Need, it's too late for the printed version. In case you want to make these corrections to your physical copy here they are.
RISN Errata:
- Page 7, Table 3: The hourly wage need for a Single Parent Family w/3 Children should be $64.78.
- Page 29, 8 lines from the bottom: The correct dollar amount is $6,327.
- Page 30, beginning of first sentence needs a second "of": "Because of the diversity of legal statuses for immigrants..."
- Page 31, 4 lines from the top, we received updated data from the Rhode Island Department of Human Services (after the publication of the report): The number of lawfully present immigrants losing Medicaid has been revised to 3,500 from the original estimate of 9,000.
- Page 37, Table 19, 4 rows from the bottom of the table, the word Adults is missing the "s" and should read as follows: "RISN for Two Working Adults"
