SNAP UPDATE

On June 1st, 5,000 more Rhode Islanders lost food benefits due to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA a.k.a. H.R.1).

You may be able to get your benefits reinstated if:

✅ You WERE working but it wasn't reported to your caseworker

✅ You begin working NOW to come into compliance (20 hrs/week or 80 hrs/month)

✅ You meet an EXEMPTION (such as disability or pregnancy)
